Rochester: Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at age 67. Predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Marion Whiting; brother, Russell Whiting; sister, Linda Orlopp. Survived by his sons, Dylan Whiting and Robert Whiting; his sister, Karen Johnson; his brother, Richard Whiting (Lisa Wahl); many dear friends.

Robert was a truck driver, was a great handy man and was a auto mechanic for several years.

Private interment, Riverside Cemetery.

    So sorry for your loss. I worked at Waterview. Robert enjoyed coffee from 7 11, because he didn’t like the coffee from Waterview, and several times getting a pizza from Pizza Hut while we watched the Bill’s game. R.I.P buddy!

    I knew Bob many years ago when he and his first wife lived downstairs from me. He was a very talented man. We were never without a working washer or dryer when he was around.
    I was to hear of his passing so young.
