Brewer, Robert A. ’Bob’ Greece: Surrounded by his loving family, Monday, July 13, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Clara Brewer. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Carolyn (Smith) Brewer; loving daughter, Debra M. Brewer; sons, Robert A. Brewer, Jr., Steven C. Brewer and Michael Kusovich; grandchildren, Adam R. (Pamela) Bellinger, Alison J. Bellinger, Brent M. (Meaghan) Brewer, Brock A. Brewer; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Ivy and Savannah; brother, Deane A. Brewer; niece, nephew and friends; his dog Roxie was a big part of his life. He was a proud World War II Navy Veteran serving aboard General M.C. Meigs in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters. Bob served the Town of Greece for 20 years and was the first appointed Court Clerk in Monroe County, later becoming the Town Clerk. Following his retirement from the Town of Greece Bob became a local businessman for 20 years until his retirement. He was a former member of Greece Rotary, Greece Kiwanis and the Greece Republican Party. Bob loved the outdoors and looked forward each year to deer hunting with his friends. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed. No prior calling. His Funeral Service will be held Friday (July 17th) 11:30 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
