Rita Rose Mook Rochester: (1932-2023) Died peacefully, October 11, 2023 at the age of 91, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Norman “Buddy” Mook. Precious mother to Diane (Richard) Nicolas, Norman G. (Mary Ann) Mook III, Joanne (Frank) Canora, and Kathleen (Jeffrey) Hayden. Loving grandmother to 12, great-grandmother “GiGi” to 16. Survived by loving sister Catherine “Ann” Schneider. Predeceased by brothers James and Robert Kinney, sisters Helen Rezebek and Margaret Hartman. Mom was sweet, kind, and loving to everyone. She was funny and game for anything-especially the casino and bingo. Her favorite thing was being with family—camping, parties, holidays, vacations, or just a visit. She was known as a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan from the beginning of the franchise. Her Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, (October 21st) at 12 NOON at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Rd, Hilton, New York 14468. In lieu of flowers, hug your mother and tell her how much you love her.

Diane and Family, Doug and I send our condolences to you. Rita was so sweet and kind and we always enjoyed our visits with her. Keeping you all in our thoughts during this difficult time.
Rita is was an awesome woman. She was a great friend to me and I thought of her like a grandma to me . I’ve known her since I was a little kid. I always loved seeing her at parties and especially when she would come to Buffalo. I would visit her when I was walking around the neighborhood. She knew alot of my interests and I always would talk about my interests with her. We always talked about cool things.
