Sending our heartfelt condolences and prayers. When I was Fire Chief, during a major incident you looked over your shoulder and there was Dick taking pictures. They were always great and he knew what he was doing. We were able to use them to review our operations and improve our service back to the community. Also he was a kind and generous person. We thank him for his service to our great nation. He was one of kind!!!!! His memory will live forever, God Bless !!!!!

Dear Cos and family, As you know, Dick and I were great friends over many years. He was a dedicated husband, father grandfather and a loyal friend. In addition, he was a proud Marine and a great patriot. He also cooked a great lunch on trips to the Buffalo Bills games. At this sad and difficult time you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Tom Lunn

The highlight of the Barnard Carnival every year was to go to the sausage booth and be greeted by Dick! He was always smiling, inquiring about my family & bragging about his. Dick gave the greatest hugs around. Cos was one lucky woman! As you look to the skies & see flashes of light, rest assured knowing Dick just captured another great picture. Jimmy, Katelyn & I will miss you, Dick. Rest in peace until we meet again. Karen Gallagher

I knew Dick when, for many years he was our bus driver/tour escort for the NY Life Underwriters Association annual week long "Appleknockers Sales Caravan" covering Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. He was consistently gracious and competent making sure every travel detail was handled. We had many wonderful chats. He was wise, kind and inciteful; a truly wonderful man.
