Greece – On May 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Dick passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home. He is predeceased by his loving wife Roselyn (Iannello) Sullivan, his parents, Francis and Edith (Griswold), sisters Florence Burton, Marjorie Dixon and Patricia Higgins. He is survived by his children Richard II (Denise) Sullivan, James (Susan) Sullivan, Jerome Sullivan (Debra Marlett), Carol (Joseph) Hoffman along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rita Pirro
Dick was a WWII veteran and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lumen AKA-30. After his discharge from the Navy, he worked in construction for a short time and then later was employed by and retired from Rochester Telephone Company.
Dick lived a life devoted to his family and helping others. He loved working outdoors in his yard and in his vegetable garden as well as travelling and camping around the United States and Canada. He was a quiet man but was known for his wit, sense of humor and wise advice!
There will be no calling hours. His Catholic Memorial Service will be held at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece on Friday, May 24th at 11:00 am. Internment at St. Francis Cemetery in LeRoy will be Saturday, May 25th at 10:30 AM

I will miss him as I miss Ro very much.
They were such good people. Iam so glad that I got to meet them as well as the rest of the family . I love them.
