Mrs. Terry, Cheryl & Jeff, Gregg & Sue, Kevin & Julia, Allison & Sam, Ryan & Bethany, David & Sarah, and Steven & Sarah, Our deep sympathy and condolences to you in the sudden loss of Mr. Terry. Any loss of a loved one is very hard; when it comes without warning, the shock of it compounds the grief. We are so sorry for your loss and for the pain that it causes. We were blessed to have had occasion to be in Mr. Terry’s company many times over the years. He will be remembered by us as a friendly man with whom it was easy to talk. His toothpick-adorned quick smile made us feel welcome at events. His and Mrs. Terry’s many years of marriage leaves a lasting legacy of commitment to one’s wedding vows for a lifetime. What a treasure! We will be praying for you as you grieve. Our love and prayers, Eric, Maureen, Daniel, and Naomi Longnecker

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Uncle Richard "Dick" Terry’s passing this morning. Dick was the twin brother of my father John "Jack" Terry, who passed away in 2008. In fact, the last time we were with Dick and all of our family in New York State was in 2010 when we had a memorial service for my dad. Love and condolences to all of our Terry Kin and related families. We miss you all and wish we could give you hugs. Surely a grand reunion is taking place right now in heaven with Bob, Jack and Dick! Love and Blessings to all, Mark, Kim & Lorena Terry

Such fond memories of Mr. Terry. Alan and I would see him weekly at the Northwest YMCA in his bicycle shorts and helmet. Always stopped to talk and share a laugh. He would ask me, “so you can still walk on the treadmill and chew gum at the same time?” He was the best! And he was so proud of his kids!! He will be missed!

Dana Lou (Terry) Thompson says: I didn’t know Dick very well, but met him maybe two times, when his twin brother, Jack and I, were in the U.S. in 1962, and in 2010 for Jack’s memorial service in NY state. Two of Jack’s children, Paul Terry and Dawn (Terry) Masuda, from his Japanese wife, Yukiko, came from Japan to meet their dad’s American family along with two of Jack’s grandchildren, Sarah and Luke. Dick was a wonderful man and left a great legacy for his wife and family.
