Greece: Suddenly, Thursday, April 12, 2012. Predeceased by his father, Frank C. Chmylak, Sr.; brother, Frank Chmylak, Jr. Survived by his mother, Eleanor Chmylak; wife, Jean M. Chmylak; sons, Richard C. Jr. (Melanie) Chmylak and Jay R. Chmylak; sister, Judy (Joe) McCabe; sister-in-law, Nancy Chmylak; loving companion, O.D.; grand-pups, Tayla and Sebastian; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Friends may call Monday (April 16th) 5-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulche Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.
All of us who have know him have taken a great lose but not as great as yours. His smile and open eyes to every experience will stay with us forever.dick will be missed.love always karen and rick
hello tina, just wanted to say i have been fwolloing you on bgt and youtube, how wonderful you are with Chandi. i have an old scruffy dog i found in a refuge in australia 14 years ago, he is now approx 15 and this is the love of my life. not as lovely as yours as he is very afraid of people, but for me wonderful. i am terrified of losing him but he is getting older anyway just wanted to say hi and will keep fwolloing you and chandi, such a gorgeous dog!Saskia x

I was very sad to hear of Rich’s passing. I worked with him for the past couple of years when he was not down south. He always had a smile on his face and a fun personality. I will miss his infectious laugh. Truly a loss for all who knew him.

Much sadness and sorrow is felt in the loss of Dick. Several memories will always live on in our heads and hearts. May God Bless his family with the strength and grace to face the hardship of his absence.

Sooo Sorry to hear that Dick has left us! . I had a ball training him to be a bus driver at GCSD. We laughed alot and he always wanted me to stop over for a beer on the way home . He was a good one.
Sorry to read of Dick’s passing. We had a lot of fun in the early ’70s.
To my wonderful brother I love you and will miss you very much. Joe and I enjoyed having you on the boat for two months. We had a lot of experiences, excitement and laughter. Just think, no more smelly locks to handle Oh what fun!!! Our love will be with you always and may you have peace. Jean, Rich and Jay, our hearts go out to you. We are going to miss seeing Dick every winter at his Mom’s at Golden Ponds in Florida. We go back a long ways,both Dick and Frank drove truck for me and plowed snow. We also snowmobiled together and had a few drinks at the Lone Elm on Buffalo rd. Ellie knows she can call me if she ever needs help with anything. All our love,Charlie & Bunny
