On Friday March 28th 2025, heaven gained a beautiful angel, and earth lost a beautiful soul – Rachael Marie Wrue.

Rachael is survived by her husband Pete Wrue of 11 years. She is also survived by parents Cheryl Shuler (Mark) and Lee Snook; siblings Joe Summers, Taylor & Lee Snook; Niece Alexis Summers; Nephews Daniel & Elliot Summers; other relatives Alan, June, Jake (predeceased), April Summers, Candice Neff; also, several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Rachael was born on Tuesday, May 5th, 1981. From birth, she struggled with numerous health issues but was incredibly strong through them all. She loved to travel, especially to a beach, she loved the water and being in the sun. She loved animals, the outdoors, bike rides, walks, and especially feeding her squirrels, which she adored. Rachael loved music, singing, and movies, and was very passionate about her Bible, specifically the study of end times, in which she co-authored two books with her husband Pete: The Return of Christ: Why are we still waiting? And End Times Explained: Understanding the Different Views. Rachael was very beautiful, she had a big heart, was loving, caring, incredibly smart, fun, talented, had a great sense of humor and was very generous. She always helped people and made a positive impact on many lives. Rachael will be greatly missed.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday April 5th at Greece Assembly of God (750 Long Pond Rd.) from 11:00-1:00 where her Celebration of Life service will start at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory, to the MISSION SHARE OUTREACH CENTER located at 10 Cedarfield Commons, Rochester, NY 14612. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Rachael was an incredible person and friend. She fought hard with her husband Pete at her side the whole time. I love Rachael, she was always reaching out to me and answering my questions about the gospel. I thank God that she is no longer suffering. I will miss her very much!!! May God bless Pete and all of the family

There are no words to fully capture the depth of heartbreak I feel over the loss of my dear niece, Rachael. We shared a bond that was truly special, a connection I cherished deeply and wish could have lasted longer. Yet, the Lord had a different plan for her. I miss you, Rachael, and our long, meaningful conversations more than words can say. Until we meet again, my sweet angel, know that I will always love you.
    Love,
    Aunt Toni

While I never got to meet Rachael in person, I knew she was a warrior along with her husband Pete, for the cause of Christ. She and Pete published two books in just the last few years and I personally own one of them, and its a great resource.

As someone who has suffered with an auto immune condition and other serious medical issues, its hard enough to just do life, let alone, pour energy into ministry, yet she did so and trusted Jesus through it all, and now she has inherited her reward. I am sure she is praising Jesus!

May God bless Pete and extended family and friends, as you go through this time of loss on the one side, but also a joy on the other, knowing she is home with our Lord.
