Dear Steph, Tammy, Michael, Lisa & Families,
We were stunned & deeply saddened to learn about Pete’s passing. It brought a “Rush” of memories to us of the 4 years we spent together as neighbors. While it all may have taken place almost 40 years ago, it was a time when Joanne & all of us felt so lucky to have such a terrific Couple & Family in our lives. Our fondest memory will always be when we were all together at your house to cheer on the Giants in beating the Broncos in the Super Bowl. Pat always considered seeing Pete at work (when we were both at St Paul Street) as a bonus.
We know that the next few months are going to be a very difficult time for all of you, which will include at the very least, starting & ending each day with a broken heart. We wish that all of you soon find peace & comfort in your lives, once again.
With deepest sympathy, love and affection,
Pat, Courtney, Patrick & all the Oliveto Family

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Pete years ago. He was a great supervisor and an even better person. He was the first to take me under his wing which I greatly appreciated and never forgot. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
