Greece: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, Herbert Bartley. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Larry) Conn & Susan (Paul) Stugis: grandchildren, Greg (Gretchen) Conn, Lisa (John) Lose, Andrew (Beth Ann) Stugis & Alex Stugis; great-grandchildren, Sophia & Chloe. Friends and family are invited to attend her Memorial Mass Saturday, January 21st, at 9:30 A.M. at St. Marks, Church 54 Kuhn Rd. Interment will be held privately.
From the moment I met Pauline I knew she was different; tough, determined, motivated and hopeful with a great sense of humor. I still expect to see her everyday, but have a moment of sadness when I realize that she won’t be here. I will always remember the way she’d say, ‘tell me a chicken story…’ Someday Pauline, I’ll have all the chicken stories you could ever ask for, and we’ll sit down and laugh about them.
