Maier, Paul J. ‘Poppy’ Spencerport: Saturday, September 12, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Paul A. & Charlotte. Survived by his loving wife, Gail A. (Chamberlin) Maier; children, Suzanne (Roy) Ballard, Karen (Ralph) Aldinger & Paul A. Maier (Michelle Ryan); grandchildren, Ryan (Elizabeth) Ballard, Adam (Catherine) Ballard, Jessica Aldinger, Chelsea (David) McPherson & Joshua Aldinger; great-grandchildren, Alexander Ballard, Deborah Ballard, Russell Ballard, Johnna McPherson, Jaxson Ryan and Colbie Ryan; brother, Richard (Jean) Maier; brother-in-law, Robert J. Chamberlin; nieces & nephews; dear friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Jessica Mattia, RN, Dr. Michael Disalle and Dr. Jefferey Allen for all the care and support given to Paul and his family. Paul’s visitation will be held Thursday, September 17th 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, September 18th at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice 3111 S. Winton Rd, Rochester NY 14623 in his memory.
