Dear family of Pat DiRienzo, My sincere condolences on the sudden death of Pat. I was the Girls’ Principal at Cardinal Mooney when Pat was teaching there. In 1967, Pat treated me to dinner in New York’s airport while I was waiting for my plane to France. We had a great visit on that special occasion. She told me how happy she was in her new work- place and in the city of New York. Her picture looks as if she was still happy when she was called home to heaven. Pat was a lovely lady whom I will never forget with a smile and a prayer. Be assured of my sympathy at your loss. Sister Edwina

I was in the first class to graduate from Cardinal Mooney, and Miss DiRienzo was my Social Studies teacher. She was so enthusiastic, and she was so different from any teacher I had ever had. Having come from a Cathoic grammar school, I had never had a lay teacher before. Miss DiRienzo was pretty and so stylish….I have fond memories of her. My sincere condolences to her family.
