Greece: Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Norman & Bessie; son, Mark; sister, June Johnston. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marie Cooper; sons, Norman (Susan)Cooper, Scott (Donna) Cooper, Lawrence (Candace) Cooper; daughter-in-law, Catherine Cooper; grandchildren, Michael, Norman, Jenna, Steven, Brittany, Michelle, Nicole, Joseph & Zachary; sister, Viola (Eugene) White; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends. Norman was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Friends may call Thursday (March 8th) 3-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Friday (March 9th) 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulche Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood or American Cancer Society in his memory.

    Dear Marie, We are out of town for the next few weeks and are unable to attend the servive for Norman. I still remember how proud he was when he started on a daily walking program more then 20 years ago. Evelyn and I want you to know you will both be remembered in our prayers. Bill and Evelyn Dodd
