Plumeri, Nicholas J. Greece: Saturday, January 13, 2018 at age 92. Predeceased by his parents, his siblings; his grandson. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Jean (McFarlane) Plumeri; his children, Robert (Mary) Plumeri, Colleen (Daniel) Coltoniak, Nora Plumeri; 5 grandchildren, Christina (Michael) Ulsh, Jeffrey (Megan) Coltoniak, Lisa Plumeri, Sara (Brett) St. Pierre, Megan (Craig) Shaughnessy; 9 great-grandchildren; Caleb, Mackenzie, Autumn, Elise, Abby, Kaiden, Joey, Fox and Owen; nieces, nephews and dear friends. Nicholas was a proud Army veteran. He retired as Chief Draftsman for Rochester Products after over 30 years of service. Friends may call Wednesday TODAY (Jan 17th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.     Nora, I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I temped for you a couple of times many years ago when you were working in Dr. Joynt’s office at the UR. I was so sorry to read about the death of your father. I lost my father in the late 80’s and after all these years when a memory of him comes floating back into my head, I find myself either smiling or shedding a tear of two. Losing a loved one is never easy, but when we lose a parent, I think it’s especially hard. You have my deepest sympathy.
