Picard, Muriel F. (nee Boucher) Greece: Peacefully surrounded by family on February 29, 2016, at the age of 85. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Gilbert Picard; son, John (Julie) Picard; daughters, Diane Picard and Sue (Jim) Brekovsky, 7 grandchildren, Brianna (Lucas), Lindsey, Michael, Rachel, Ryan, Andrew and Adam; great grand-daughter, Elliotte; brothers, Francois (Alvine) Boucher and Rejean (Laurette) Boucher; sisters, Paryse (Roger) Cyr, Reine Boucher and Germaine (Prudent) Duguay. Predeceased by parents, Georges and Alma Boucher; siblings, Gertrude St-Pierre, Fr. Fernand Boucher, Anne Beaulieu, Guy Boucher, Marthe Boucher, OMI. She was a selfless and devoted wife and mother, a teacher, an avid gardener, a wonderful cook, a talented seamstress, an enduring friend and woman of great faith who spent her life in the service of others. Muriel’s visitation will be held Thursday, March 3th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday March 4th, 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Entombment will be held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800 Miami, FL 33131 in her memory.
