Rochester: Monday, March 14, 2011 at age 90. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera (VanGelder) Hutchinson; brother, Bill ‘Brud’ Hutchinson. Survived by his sisters, Nancy Bryden and Joanne Hodges; his brother-in-law, Carl (Pat) VanGelder; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was retired from the Max T. Dolan Company, an Usher at Holy Cross Church, a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Barbershop Quartet. Friends may call Thursday 4:30 – 7:00 at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 o’clock at Holy Cross Church. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Friends wishing may make contributions to G.R.A.S.P for his four-legged friends or to Lollypop Farm in his memory.
I remember you and Vera as loving relatives. You always had those crazy pugs.
My Uncle Miles, You’ve gone on to the best place and we’ll miss you. While you were here you made this place a greater place. You’ve always been a shining star in my life.
