Goodness where would I begin, she was my everything, Millie and I got our dinner’s together every Tuesday, she loved Bingo and Bunco. She was my garden club buddy In her final days she reminisced about her childhood days, living on Wellesley Island and talked forever about her son Wayne. She was never frowning and always had a smile on her face. She had a kind word for everyone. I can’t tell you how much she is missed already, my friend Dolores and I were both with her when she passed. We said our good-byes to a life well lived as her son put it. Till we meet again Millie. Forever in our hearts. We love you…

Your mother was one of the first people I met at Spruce Creek. She was so very special to me. And she was so very proud of you. Can’t tell you the times she shared your successes with us. Us being the Bingo group. I am sure that she shared those with other groups. She was a very special lady.

We are so sorry to learn of Millie’s passing. We really enjoyed the Strauss family while all the "kids" were in their teen-age years. We were able to visit Millie just once in Florida. Millie was always a gracious and pleasant lady. We wish Wayne peace and strength in remembering his fine parents.

Wayne – So many stories, over the years, about you and your mother. I feel like I knew her well myself. And yet, we never met. Cheers to her. Sounds to me like a life well lived. And cheers to you. I know it feels awful now, but always remember the bvest of what she had she gave to you. d./-

Our deepest condolences Wayne. So many memories going way back to the 1960’s! I can recall your home in Greece and also visiting Wellesley Island – your Mom always so fashionably dressed and smiling! Her strength during your father’s passing. And it was such a pleasant and meaningful surprise to see her walk in with you to my Mom’s memorial service in 2016 having traveled all the way from Florida in her late eighties! She was a very special lady.
