Greece: May 20, 2010 at age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Evaline ‘Pat’ Bellanca. He is survived by his children, Michael (Tina) Bellanca & Shelly Bellanca; grandchildren, Edward, Alex & Michael Bellanca; brothers, Anthony (Marie) Bellanca & Charles (Judith) Bellanca; sister, Kay Grube; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Michael is a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps and served in World War II. He was a lifetime charter member of Lake Plains Waterfowl Association; member of Ducks Unlimited and was the Commander of American Legion Post #1709 Butler-Bevin for over 50 years. Michael was also a retiree of Rochester Telephone. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 6:30-8:30 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment in Riverside Cemetery will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers. contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, Rochester Chapter, 160 Allens Creek Rd Rochester, NY 14618 in his memory.

Mike was the most kindest and gentle person we have ever know. It was a privilge to have known him. Our prayers are with you all. He will be missed.
