Peg, we moved out of state 10 years ago, but I read Rochester news and was saddened to hear of Rick’s passing. We didn’t know him well but his testimony always shone through. My prayers are with you and your family. (Ken passed away in 2021 so I empathize with you.)
In Christ, Gail Johnson

Rick Grape was an amazing soul. I have known him for almost 50 years as his wife’s cousin I have had many experiences with him. My condolences to Peg and her family. I will be praying for you. I cannot make it to the funeral because I live out of state now.🙏
Peggy,
I am unsure you remember me but I was one of Melissa’s friends during high school and spent much time with her/your family. I saw Robin and Joe on Tuesday and they told me of Rick’s illness and that he would be passing most likely that evening. I’m so sorry for yours and your family’s loss!! I just wanted you to know that I also never forgot you both and that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Stay Strong.
Peggy, we were so sad to hear of Rick’s passing. You were the best neighbors and we’ve missed you both dearly since you moved. You and the family are in our prayers. Ann and Bruce
Rick; the embodiment of “the hands and feet of Jesus.” I benefitted greatly from his reflections shared on social media. Sorry for your loss.
Rick and Peggy! My favorite set of married patriarchs! Thank you for the reputation and character that exemplifies Christ. I will never forget the rides home and coaching from Mr. Grape, his legacy and all of his sons lives on. A great man to be counseled by and prayed with.
Peggy, Ryan, Brett and family I’m so sad to hear of Rick’s (your dad’s) passing on to glory. He was a wonderful man and I’ll always remember the impact he had on Gabe in his teen years. You will be in my prayers.
Peg, Ryan and Bret,
Ken, Tarrah and I are heart sick to discover Rick’s passing. We will always remember the memories and great moments our families shared during our early years living in Rochester.
We left Rochester many years ago and when we talk about old times and our early years in Rochester we always mention you, Rick and the kids and how much fun we all had together.
Sending you all our deepest condolences
Ken and Ann Hirsch and Tarrah Vedder
Dear Peggy and family,
I worked with Rick for years at Harris. Not only was he a great engineer, but he was a brother in the Lord, and having that connection in the workplace meant so much to me. I so appreciated having someone to share with and I know he prayed for things going on on my life on multiple occasions. His quiet yet strong faith shown through in everything he did.
My deepest sympathies to you all.
Dear Peggy and Family,
My name is Khanh Ngo, and my mother is Lien Gallagher. We have been taking care of your husband’s nails.
We are deeply saddened by your loss. Rick was truly a wonderful customer—gentle, kind, and always came in with a warm smile. Even though he didn’t talk much, we could always feel his kindness from within. We are very grateful for his support and for giving us the opportunity to take care of him.
We believe that he is no longer in pain and is now resting in God’s embrace. We pray that God and he will watch over you and your family. Please stay strong and take good care of your health as you go through this difficult time.
Dear Rick, we want you to know that we will always remember you as a kind and truly lovely customer.
With our deepest sympathy,
Khanh Ngo & Lien Gallagher
