McNamara, May (Charlotte May) Rochester: January 12, 2015 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband George F. and sister, Lou Linn. Survived by her children, David A. (Kathy), Richard D. (Carol) and Bonnie Lou (Bill) Jenny; grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, Michele, Rachel, Joshua and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Dare, McLean, Emma, Tyler, Ethan, Remy, Fiona, Ainsley and Joshua; several nieces, nephews, cousins. May’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 11:00 AM at Wesley United Methodist Church 2009 Dewey Avenue Rochester, NY 14615. Interment held privately in Riverside cemetery. My family lived next to The McNamara’s on Strathmore Dr for over 40 yrs She was like a 2nd mom to all of the kids. In recent years I would see May shopping at Big Lots when it was still located at Northgate Plaza. Many happy memories come to mind when I think of May ! Thinking of all of you Bonnie. My Dear Aunt May! I will always have so many wonderful memories of her. I will always remember her for the strength and laughter. Aunt May is now having a party with the entire gang up in heaven! My mom and her were so very close. I love all of the years enjoying her company and also all of the wonderful vacations Aunt May, Uncle Brud, my Dad and Mom took together. I can remember as a little girl running into her arms when they came to visit! Over the past few years I felt as though she was a 2nd Mom to me…..we so enjoyed our conversations! So many laughs. I feel so blessed to have had them both Aunt May and Uncle Brud in my heart and life!
