Mary (Kay) Rogers, Age 81, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024.  She was the heart and soul of her entire family and dedicated to putting her family first.  Kay’s passions included online shopping, savoring good food, watching Food Network shows, watching movies with her daughter, reading, and indulging her sweet tooth.  Kay’s zest for life was evident in her passion for cooking, her flair for hosting, and her love of sharing meals with those she held dear.  She enjoyed a good laugh, and her fashion style was impeccable.  Kay’s love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was limitless. Her memory will be treasured, her presence deeply missed, and her influence forever felt in the lives of those who loved her.  Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, who will remember her as the loving, caring, giving, strong, and one-of-a-kind person she was.

Survived by her daughter, Kim Cook; son, Mike LiVecchi (Kim Bills); granddaughter, Brittany (Brandon) Bermudez; grandsons Daniel Cook (Christina Frassetto) and Michael LiVecchi (Angela Tassone); great-grandchildren, Cooper Connor, Coast Cook, Maddox Bermudez, Mateo Bermudez, Oaklee Cook, Hanna Mattern; great-great-grandchild, Selah Mattern; sisters, Barb (Ed) Kowalski, Sharon Liberti, Karin (George) VanGrol, Cindy Oakden; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Predeceased by her mother and father, Frances, and John Rogers; sister, Patricia Geier; brother, Raymond Rogers; brothers-in-law, Steve Liberti, Frank Geier, Paul Oakden; grandson, Jason LiVecchi; great-grandson, Luca John Cook.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday July 6th at 11 AM at the Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UR Medicine Home Care.
