Greece: Thursday, September 25, 2008 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph D. “Babe” Furioso on September 24, 1990. She is survived by her children, Angelo and Angelin Furioso, Marilyn and David Lippa; grandchildren, Renee and Todd Yunker, Josette and Steve Martin, Stephanie and Chris Varlan; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kaeli and Corey Yunker, Paige and Sabrina Martin, Hannah and Mandie Varlan; several nieces and nephews, especially, Patti Bryant, Annette Barlow, Judi Gavin and Andrea Carlucci; the nurses and care assistants of the 2nd Floor 2200 Wing at Park Ridge Hospital; many dear friends. Mary is also predeceased by her parents, George and Antoinette Bovenzi; brother, Andrew (Mary) Bovenzi; sisters, Frances (Sam) Viscardi, Anna (Ralph) Schiano. Mary’s family was the most important part of her life. She was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her marriage of 49 years was a true love story. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 Ridge Road West. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester NY 14626 in her memory.

    Ange, Angel, and Family, Unfortunately we never knew your mother, but everything that all of you have said about her tells us that she was a wonderful woman who you all loved dearly.     My Heart goes out to Mary’s family, especially Marilyn and Angelo. I got to know Mary during her Hospital stay and became very fond of her.
