Greece: Monday, January 5, 2015. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Astrella and siblings. Survived by her children, R. Louis Astrella, James Astrella, Margarita (Astrella) Wise; grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Astrella, Matthew Astrella, Jessica (Dale) VanVorst, Alison Wise, Emily Wise; siblings; extended family. Mary was born in England and she grew up in Ireland. Mary came to America as a war bride after WWII. She enjoyed calligraphy, was a artisian and seamstress. She will be deeply missed by her family. Mary’s visitation will be held Friday, January 9th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 10th, at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borrromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616. Interment will be private in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
