I’m so sad to hear of Mary’s passing. I just learned of it today 1/23/12. I want to let her daughter Sandy know how very sorry I am. Mary lived at the Hamlet with my mom Carmella DeSisti. I wish I had known sooner. I just loved Mary, she was such a sweet lady, and very close with my mom. I always say how much I missed seeing and talking to her at the Hamlet Linda
Sandy & George – So sad to hear of Mary’s passing. I lived next to Mary for almost 23 years on Pemberton Rd. She was (and continues to be) an inspiration to me. When I found myself single & living in the house by myself, I knew if Mary could do it then so could I. We often would talk over the fence about things and she would share her flowers and stories with me. Before I remarried, she would invite me over for a Christmas Eve drink. It was always special – she was such a sweet lady. I will always keep my memories of her close in my heart. Sue
Sandy and George, There are so many wonderful memories in the past 30+ years, Picnics, Family get togethers, Holidays, Weddings and lots of laughs. We will miss her Dickie Bird saying and wonderful smile and her great cooking, especially her pot roast. Sandy you make those wonderful cut out cookies like she used to. Loved making Bry’s dads tomato juice cocktail with her, lots of work and lots of fun. She is definitely playing euchre in heaven. Love Bry and Ev

We have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Mary. What an incredible strong and generous person. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. We all loved the many Christmas’s we spent at your Mom’s house. What an excellent cook. She taught us how to make so many wonderful dishes. We’ll be having her dressing today. We’ll be including her and you and George in our blessings today and always.
