Martin I. Sickels
Rochester: Marty passed away peacefully Sunday April 10th at the age of 93. Predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Wilma and his sister Nancy. He is survived by his sons, Glenn (Linda) and Wayne; grandchildren, Daniel and Kristin ; four great grandchildren. Marty was a graduate of RIT and was employed at Kodak where he retired as a Photographic Engineer. Marty was active in the Boy Scouts of America and Wesley United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed photography, hiking, birding, flying and spending time in the cabin his father built in the Adirondacks .
Private Services. Memorial donations can be made to Nature Conservancy or the Journey Home in his memory.
Marty was such a devoted member of Wesley, singing in the choir, attending every week, and joining the ladies after church for lunch at the Peppermill. He was always so pleasant to be around. Miss him. My sympathies go out to his family. Jackie Johnson

We will remember him fondly For all the years we knew him & and Wilma; Peter & I are the last of the group (Fearsome & Forsome), enjoying many good times at the cabin , also abroad and in the US. May Marty Rest In Peace & join the heavenly Choir of Angels. Our deepest Sympathy To you all. He is relieved of all worries and tribulations. Wishing you Peace and comfort at this difficult time. We both are blessed of still being alive and together; Peter just celebrated his 98th Birthday, So sooner or later, We will be facing our End station of life.
