Dear Ron,Bob and Frank and your families, It is with sadness and shock I read the obituary by chance this morning and have thought all day of the Great times we had as we grew up from the drum corps events to the many parties on Atwell Street. The genuine feel of Love and admiration for brothers emulated like no other family with you all. The paths we took as we grew older and began making our families made for get-togethers very more seldom but the thoughts and memories are ours to cherish for eternity! The first time I met Mark, he made me feel like another member of the family and we always had a laugh or two every time we met thereafter! The land of Heaven has got themselves a one of a kind jokster and can only hope the pain of your loss eases daily as Mark sends his love from the pearly gates! We are so sorry……. Love Gary & Donna Goldstein I
Frank and family, I am very sorry for the loss of your brother. No words can make these next few days any easier. Just know that He is with your parents now and he is no longer in pain. I will be praying for you and your family. again I am very sorry for your loss. remember all the good times you had with him and he will remain alive in your heart. God bless you and your family Jackie
I m glad I knew Mark as a helpful watchful neighbor and friend. I will miss him.
It was by chance that I read of Mark’s passing in the obituaries. I worked with Mark for several years at the LDR Char Pit long ago. He is someone you don’t forget due to his large, bright personality and he was a really memorable character. The world is surely a little poorer for the loss of such a sparkling person. Nice to hear he had a rich life full of friends, family and love. So long Mark
Lori and Bobby, Our thoughts are with you and your family. Love, Patty and Keith
Mark, God is with now. You can talk with your mom and dad. Mark, you will be sadly missed by family, charlotters and Kodak friends. We love ya. Frank and Janet
Mary Beth & Mark, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
Mary Beth & Markie, our friendship over the past 20 years has been filled with our sons growing up together and so many good memories with you & Mark, the laughs, the party’s. I will cherish those times and my memories of Mark will be that wonderful smile and insatiable laugh of his and great sense of humor. He is a true friend, one that will never be forgotten. I love you both. Carrie
MaryBeth and Family, so sorry to hear of your loss. You are all in our prayers. Mark was a great guy and we have so many Char-Pit memories to keep in our hearts. May your memories help you through this troubled time. God Bless
My deepest condolences to the Taccone family. I was a friend of Mark’s for over thirty years. Caring, sharing and a helping hand was Mark’s signature. He was so enthusiastic in his quest to help others, and he strived to communicate with people at the deepest, human level. Those who knew Mark in his youth, and those who knew him a lifetime later – all remember his largeness of spirit, his gentle instincts and an enthusiastic magnetism that drew others to him. There was a kindness, simplicity and goodness of character that marked so many years of Mark’s life. I believe so much of Mark’s legacy will be carried forward through the unconditional love of his wonderful family, many relatives and an extended family of friends. Many people will walk in and out of our lives, but it is the genuine love that Mark shared with so many that will leave the deepest footprints in our hearts. Mark had the remarkable ability to make all human encounters, however brief, feel both special and personal. For his loved ones, Mark kept a place in his heart that never grew old. We will forever celebrate his loving spirit. Mark’s loss is keenly felt by so many. But I believe his spirit will take comfort and rejoice in the afterlife. For wherever there are no limits, where eternity and infinity exists, that’s where God is, and that’s where Mark joined his departed love ones. I believe Mark has been blessed by the light as all his love ones will always be embraced by his light. Out of the sadness of death arises a wonderful legacy of memories, and those memories become treasures. We did not lose a love one in MarkTaccone, I believe, in our hearts we gained an angel. And believing as he did that there is a plan at work in each life, Mark faced his own demise with a final message – that there is a bright dawn ahead. And as we close the final chapter of Mark’s life here on earth, I’d like to say: ‘Mark, we come here to mourn, but also give thanks, to celebrate you and your life-filled with such a rich sense fatherhood, brotherhood and friendship. We honor your grace, your own courage, wyand above all, the great love you gave to us all, let that be a part of your legacy. God Bless My Friend Ronald J Pawley
My thoughts and prayers to the Taccone family. Mark was a wonderful person; all of us at Stonewood Deli enjoyed Mark’s daily visits….he is truly missed by all…
News of Mark’s passing was relayed to me this morning by my brother Terry. On behalf of the entire DeHond family, Terry and I wish to extend our deepest condolences. We have fond memories of having the Taccones as neighbors at the homestead on Atwell Street and of how well Mark’s parents, Frank and Mary, treated us as their D&C News carriers. Much love from our family to yours at this sad time. Sincerely, Kevin and Terry DeHond
Our Deepest Sympathy
To the Taccone and Cancelmi Family ~ I received a message this morning to let me know that Mark had passed away. I am so sorry. Having been around to see the amazing relationship that four brothers could have was a gift. And Mark had a way of ‘awakening’ a room with his vibrant personality and smile. I hope the sharing of everyone’s memories and the love and support of family helps each of you through this time. My prayers are with you. Nancy
