I remember Marie fondly as a fellow choir member at holy Cross 30 years ago. I arrived at the church for her funeral on Saturday, but found it was postponed. I want her family to know that I think Marie was a wonderful person.

Thank you Martha! Holy Cross is a very special place to her. I’m sorry that you weren’t aware of the postponement. It happened quickly with the airline issue that week.

I sang with Marie with the Sweet Adelines, and also sang in a quartet with her. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. I also loved the cookies she would make every Christmas and looked forward to getting some every year. She touched so many lives with her loving personality and will be missed.
