On Tuesday, October 27th Jesus went into His garden where there were many flowers. He decided one especially beautiful one was ready to pick.
Rochester, NY: María Cecilia Salto-Hernández de Robinson peacefully returned to her beloved Lord at age 57, with her loving husband, Gary, at her side.
She was predeceased by her father, Cleto Salto-Martinez and sister, Maria. She is survived by her mother, Antonia Hernandez-Garcia, sisters Graciela, Pablina, Carmen, Guadalupe, and Audelia, brothers Augustin, Artemio, Angel, Raul, and Serafin, and many beloved nieces/nephews, and great nieces/nephews.
She loved God with all her heart, mind and soul. Her infectious joy lit up many a day for all who encountered her. She delighted in children, fresh vegetables and fruits, and singing to herself while she worked, but she was most known for her deep devotion to our Lord. When confronted with ovarian cancer she never complained once in over six years that she carried that cross but joyfully made an offering of her suffering to her precious Jesus. To the end she was concerned more for others than about her own situation.
Friends may call Thursday (November 5th)4-7 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (November 6th) 9:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church. Interment immediately following in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her beloved Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St, Rochester, NY 14606.
