We have been friends and neighbors of Marge for 20 years and shall miss her so much. She was always so kind and loving, and our neighborhood won’t be the same without her. Her family will be in our prayers.
We are so saddened by the death of our dear friend, Marge. She was such a loving, caring, and thoughtful friend, who lived her faith everyday. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with her family. Tom and Mary Toole
We have only known Marge for 3 years but from the moment we moved in, she made us so welcome! She was a wonderful, warm, caring friend. We will miss seeing her outside sweeping and cleaning her garage! We will miss her a great deal.
We are so sorry to lose our friend. We only knew Marge for 3 years but she welcomed us to the neighborhood with her special warmth and care. We will miss seeing her sweeping and cleaning her garage! She was such a special lady and we will miss her terribly! Joe & Linda
To know Aunt Marge was to love her. She never missed a family gathering and was a special aunt to all of us. Aunt Marge always livened up the party, and was an outstanding hostess at her annual Christmas party. We will all miss her.
God bless you, Marge. You will certainly be missed.
Margie took on Grandma duties when she married my Poppy on my 7th birthday. She was the kindest woman and immediately made our family her own. She never missed a holiday celebration, birthday, concert, school play, graduation, or special event. She was selfless, funny, generous and ALWAYS smiling. I truly do not remember seeing her without a smile. Grandma Margie was a bit of a "neat freak," earning the phrase "Margie Clean" which will continue to be used to describe and unattainable level of perfection. And she took great care of Poppy. I’m upset that we weren’t able to see her on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. She hosted the most magical Christmas Eve parties, and I will miss them forever. With precautions, I was able to bring my children to visit her for a wonderful lunch date in November. I’m very thankful for that day we shared. Margie shared a special bond with my oldest daughter, Ruth (6) and they shared a birthday. On the last day we saw her, Margie gave Ruth a doll that was hers as a child and together they named her "Eliza." Ruth adores the doll and will cherish her forever. As my cousin Sean has said, Margie loved us with the strength of 10 grandparents. It’s like she was meant to be a grandmother and later a great-grandmother. She always had everything planned. Everything was perfect. And she was the perfect fit in our family. We will miss her dearly.
Kelsey, you said it all. For several years I bowled in Webster and would join Margie and my Dad for dinner on Monday nights. Every week Margie would have a beautiful dinner prepared and welcome me with open arms and a broad smile. The care she gave my father was incredible, particularly as his health faded and he began to decline. I too will always cherish the memories of those wonderful Christmas Eves complete with the laughter of children, the beautiful decorations and clinking of glasses throughout the night. I wish things could always remain the same but I will always be grateful for the memories I can hold dear and watch our kids and grandchildren reflect all of the qualities and influences that a wonderful grandmother can pass on to those she loved and tended to so dearly. Thank you Margie, you helped to make our children’s lives magical and I will continue to see you in their kindness and goodness!
She certainly was a lovely person. Last time I saw Margie was at her husband John’s funeral. She went to work right out of school for my great grandfather, who owned Rochester Smelting and Refining Company….She told me that he wasn’t easy to work for, but she learned so much at such a young age…..God rest her soul……
Margie and I have been good friends for over 65 years. We played golf, skied and traveled together. We always had great times. She was truly a beautiful friend. Since I moved to Florida, we did not see as much of each other, but I will miss our phone chats. GOD BLESS YOU MY DEAR FRIEND. I WILL MISS YOU SADLY.
Such a beautiful tribute. She really loved all of John’s children, grandchildren, and great grand children and loved to tell us all about your wonderful lives. She indeed will be missed.
I remember Margie coming to our home in the 1970’s as she worked with my Dad at Kodak. Later when I worked at Kodak Ofc in the early 1990’s we would have lunch. She was a wonderful person, always smiling and laughing. Condolences to her Family.

Marge and I went to Nazareth Academy together, We reunited a few years later when some Nazareth buddies organized a dinner club. She was a lovely lady, fun, sweet and caring. I was saddened to read if her passing. My deepest sympathy to the family.
When we were teenagers, all the nieces will remember going up to Aunt Marge’s bedroom to help her decide what outfits to keep and what she should take back. Of course, everything had to match – hat, shoes, purse, gloves- the whole ensemble! Aunt Marge was quite the shopper. That’s just one of our fondest memories. We were all so excited to go to her wedding when she married John- a whole new part of our family! She made an impact on all of our lives, and will be greatly missed!
Margie was a very special lady. We (Kodak 4) met for lunch regularly for over 20 years. She will certainly be missed.
Aunt Marge, I know you cannot read this, but hope you can feel it. I am so blessed to have been able to call you "Aunt Marge" for 40 years after marrying into the Nealon (Vay) family. We met for lunch when we were both at KO, talked about makeup, clothes, skiing, and so much more. I SO enjoyed and loved you. I remember your wedding day like it was yesterday – you were radiant. We enjoyed trying to figure out if I was related to John’s family with all my own "Ryan" relatives and I always loved talking with you about your grandchildren and "greats." My favorite recent memories are our wonderful Christmas gatherings for all of the "Vay" ladies. I looked forward to it every year. I will miss you so very much. “May the choirs of Angels come to greet you, may they speed you to paradise. May the Lord enfold you in His mercy. May you find eternal life.”
I was so sad to learn of Marge’s passing. I She golf in our Dorrie Dollies golf league at Webster Golf Club. She always had a smile and was so caring if others. She definitely would light up a room with her presence. My deepest condolences to the Family Laurie Saffran
