Dear Family, I was saddened to hear your Mom had passed. Even though you rarely see someone it is always a comfort to know they are here. I will miss seeing her. Each life is a miracle that changes the world and leaves it a better place than it was before. Sue made her changes and I am grateful she was here and that I knew her. She is a very specail lady. Love to you all. Anne

My Dearest Grammy, My heart broke when I heard of your passing. Growing up I never had grandparents. They had all passed before I was born. I always wanted to have a grandmother. When I met my best friend Marybeth’¦we were in our early twenties and she introduced me to you. You told me I could call you ‘Grammy’ too. I explained how I had always wanted one and you replied ‘well now you’ve got one!’ You have spent time talking..laughing..singing..cooking..and baking with me..even came to my wedding..you were true to your word that I indeed did have a Grammy. Which makes it incredibly hard to say goodbye. I know you’re in heaven now with your loving God and your loving husband. I love you Grammy..thank you for everything. All my love and prayers..’Jenniko’

Some of my favorite memories of my Grandma Lechner include her raspberry jam on toast in her kitchen, her hands teaching me to quilt, sitting on the glider with her at the lake, and watching her dance with my grandfather to ‘Let me call you sweetheart.’
