Mabel (Mae) Rodgers Andia Greece: Saturday, January 13, 2024 at age 103. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Myrtle Rodgers; her husband, Ralph; daughter, Shirley; son, Ralph; sons-in-law, Paul and Gary. Survived by her daughter, Nancy; daughter-in-law, Carole; grandson, Dave; granddaughter, Sherri (Mark); great-grandson, Darien; great-great-grandson, Parker; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call Thursday, (January 18th) 3-6 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, (January 19th) 12:00 PM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in her memory.
I only knew Mrs Andia through a past friendship with her son Ralph. I remember her being sweet and kind. This was many many years ago. But it also was only through her obituary, that I learned of her son Ralph’s passing and was so saddened to hear this as well. So please accept my sympathies for both of them. I did not have any contact info for Carol, but would be so grateful if she could contact me via my email listed. Or I could also provide my number if there is a way to do this privately. Nancy, I was away when your mom’s obituary was in the paper. I’m just looking at old newspapers and saw it. I’m so sorry I wasn’t here for either the calling hours or funeral. She was a sweetheart – as are you. I’m glad I saw you both not too long ago at the diner. You were the best daughter!! Judy Naramore
