Greece: Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Monday, October 6, 2014. Predeceased by her sister, Ervanna Cottrell. Survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Judson Walker; her children, Joanie (Byron) Geer, Gerald Walker, Lois (James) Meyer, Jackie (Hank) Lowe; grandchildren, Corinne (Gary) Hirt, Justin (Christine) Walker, Lauren Geer and Leslie Geer; Joshua Smith, Adam and Jake Lowe; great-grandchildren, Madison, Eloise and Grace; dear friend, Frannie Cerminara; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday (Oct 18th) 1:00PM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment. A celebration of Janet’s life will be held for family and friends immediately following service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
