I met Lucy through St Mark’s Seniors group. She was always so kind to me and my husband. Whenever she saw us we were greeted with a big hug and kiss. Lucy would always ask how our son, Jason was, he was deployed many times in the Middle East. Lucy was a genuine, loving lady who will be greatly missed. Amazing coincidence, Kristen, her granddaughter, was one of my very favorite students at Odyssey.

Lucy was the kindest and most young-at-heart person that one can imagine. I first met Lucy through the Woman’s Club of Rochester and for many years we volunteered together with the teen-age residents at the Rochester Psychiatric Center. She related with the patients so perfectly and it was always a joy to be with her. She made that program the success that it was. I know how much Lucy loved her family and how she enjoyed going to the kids’ games, practices, shows and all family events. She was such a special person and we were all lucky to know her. Love, Shirley Humphrey
