Louise M. Garrison, age 81, born in Lockport, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Louise is survived by her son, David (Chaunjin) Garrison; her brother, David (Angela) Callahan; grandchildren Courtney (Steven) Cox and Collin Garrison; great-granddaughter Sadie Cox; niece Colleen (Keith) Liebel; great-nephews Brian (Jill) Liebel and Robert Liebel (fiancée, Elizabeth); and great-niece Carly Liebel.
She was equally cherished by her dear friends and caregivers— Javier Barrantes, Linda Burns and Denise & Greg Schweers—whose devoted care and companionship meant so much to her.
Louise was witty and gracefully sarcastic, with a sense of humor that stayed with her to the end. A gifted quilter, painter, and embroiderer, she was also very smart and fiercely self-sufficient. She was devoted to the Lord and her church. Whatever challenges life brought her, Louise met them as a survivor.
Louise’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, 54 Kuhn Road, Rochester, NY 14612. Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Per Louise’s wishes, she asked for no flowers or contributions.
