Mattiucci, Louis G. Greece: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 17, 2016. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 68 years, Gloria; his children, Peg (Ron) Schmidt, Jim (Joanne) Mattiucci & Janice (Bob) Riley; grandchildren, Elaina Chandler, Alyssa (Shaun) LeClair, Mike (Melanie) Schmidt, Andrew & Michael Mattiucci, Gina, Teresa & Joe Riley; great grandchildren Mariah & Gianna. Lou was a veteran of of the United States Army during World War II, serving proudly as a pilot in the Pacific and was employed by Eastman Kodak, retiring in 1983. He was a skilled handyman, talented golfer and avid photographer. Lou was a founding member of Our Lady of Mercy parish in Greece. His great pride in life was his wife and family. Lou’s visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21st, 4-7 pm at Vay, Schleich and Meeson Funeral home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Friday, April 22nd 11:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Internment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester Hospice Program or The Leo Center for Caring.
