Lou J. Guyette Saturday, July 1, 2023, at age 74. Predeceased by his son, Paul Guyette. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Doris Guyette; daughters, Christina (David) Westmiller and Rachel (Vincent) Triolo; grandchildren, Jenna and Emma Guyette, Ashley, Madison, Tyler Triolo; brothers, William, Thomas (Ann) and Richard Guyette; daughter-in-law, Mary Guyette; many loving family and dear friends. Lou retired from the ARC of Monroe. He dedicated his life to people with special needs. He enjoyed canoeing in the Stillwater Reservoir, camping especially with his “camp family”. He had a great sense of humor like no other. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lou’s visitation will be held Thursday, July 13th 4 PM -7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. His celebration of life will be held Friday, July 14th 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation in his memory. Such a loss, what a wonderful man. Lou spent his life helping the less fortunate and was a loving family man. He was a great brother-in-law and always seemed to truly enjoy life. He will be missed by so many. RIP Lou.
