Lorraine Marie (Graupman) Resch went home to her heavenly Father on Friday, December 9th, at age 98. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Edwin J. Resch, her parents, and three siblings. She is survived by her children Richard (Barbara) Resch, Marlene (David) Jackson, and Laurie (Michael) Kinsella; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Gibbons; sisters-in-law Ellie Graupman, Madeline Resch, Thelma Neary-Lochner, and Carol Gurgel; many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a homemaker who brought up her family in a loving Christian home and lived a life of service to others and her Lord. She was a longtime member of Hope Lutheran Church.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 12th at 2:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church 1301 Vintage Lane, Greece. Private interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin NY. Richard, Marlene, Lorrie and Family, We are so sorry for your loss and we, too, will miss your Mom. She was so loving and kind and it was always a delight to be in her company. Since she was one of my first Sunday School teachers, she was always "Mrs. Resch" to me. A classy, beautiful woman of God.
