Greece: Born in Fancher, NY, passed peacefully, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at age 88. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Loretta Bender; daughter, Sarann; husband, Fillmore Craver; sisters, Doty Whipple and Doris Lieberman; granddaughter, Sara Rose. Survived by her children, Filmore M. Craver, III (Regina), Timothy (Ginny) Craver, Lorrie (John) Torshia, Robin (David) Leckinger; brother, Charles Jr. (Jane) Bender; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 40 Foster children; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Loretta was a giving person and enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends may call Monday (March 3rd) 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday (March 4th) 11:00 AM in the chapel of St. Ann’s Home. Private Interment Falls Cemetery.     Aunt Loretta you will be missed by so many. Fil, Tim, Lorrie, Robin and all your families; the rest of Loretta’s family and friends; you all all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all.

    I will miss her at our table for meals. We had so many laughs and good times. i only knew her a short time but she made you feel you were a part of her family. I will miss her but I know she is at last free of pain and with her beloved husband.

    My deepest sympathy to you all. Your Mom was such a special person to me and my family. I will always cherish the memories of your Mom . Im so glad I got to have lunch with her recently and could see the change in her and some of her struggles. She loved you all with all her heart. Im sorry I couldn’t get in there to give you all hugs.
