Lorena A. Ganzini Greece: died on the evening of July 4, 2020 of cancer at the age of 68. Beloved daughter of Pierina Vit and Americo Ganzini (deceased); dearest sister to Rita Ganzini-Falzone (Anthony, deceased); and devoted aunt to Sonia (Marcel), Sergio (Jenna) and Fabio Falzone. Treasured friend to many. A graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and Nazareth College (B.A. in History), Lorena will always be remembered for her quick wit and keen sense of humor. She had a lifelong curiosity and passion for learning. Her sense of adventure and appreciation of history led her on many travels and she passed on her love of music through teaching others. She was a woman of steadfast faith. Funeral Services and burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be private. Contributions may be made in memory of Lorena to: CURE Childhood Cancer Association, Inc. 200 Westfall Rd., Rochester NY, 14620-4636, or Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra 255 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14604 in her memory. I have known Lorena since we attended St Michael’s school. I have known her family for years. Lorena was soft spoken and a gentle lady. We always laughed at something when we were together. May she Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to her mother and sister
Mrs. Ganzani, I worked with Lorena at Golisano’s childrens hospital at Strong. She was a wonderful person, and loved her family very, very much. I can not express how deeply I am sadden by your loss. Peace be with you and your family.
Lorena was such a kind hearted person and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I only wish she had shared with us her journey so we could have supported her more. We at C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association are so honored to be in her memorial. She was always such a big supporter of our organization and she will be greatly missed.

Lorena was a person with such a kind, warm heart. I worked with her for many years and truly enjoyed her sense of humor. My hope is that she is resting in peace and her family is able to draw comfort from this.
It has been a blessing to have such a good and understanding friend to share many events and times with for over 35 years. Heartfelt condolences to Pierina and Rita and the rest of the family from Rosemary Newhart. You will be in my prayers. Also condolences from my sons Thomas, Michael and Daniel Newhart.
