Beckford, Lisa O. Greece: Peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at age 52. Predeceased by her husband Paul A. Beckford; Mother, Olivia G. Mars. Survived by her father, Harold S. Mars, Jr. (Yvonne); her children, Paul Christian Beckford and Olivia Faith Beckford; her brothers, Harold S. Mars III (Mary Beth), Gregory T. Mars; mother-in-law, Jean Beckford; brother-in-law, Kevin Beckford (Linda); sister-in-law, Kimberly Beckford; nieces and nephews, Lauren K. Hanley (John), Tyler J. Mars, Alan S. Mars, Kyle H. Mars, and Paris Beckford; several cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Lisa was a Christian who was strong in her faith, and lived it out not only in word, but in deed. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to cook, listening to music, traveling, shopping, and teaching Sunday School at Greece Assembly of God. Lisa was a dedicated employee at Strong Memorial Hospital for approximately 26 years. First employed as an NICU Nurse, and ended her tenor in Nursing Recruitment. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and so much more to her family and friends. Friends may call Tuesday (November 1st) 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday (November 2nd) 10:00 AM at Greece Assembly of God Church, 750 Long Pond Road. Internment, Maplewood Cemetery, Henrietta. A reception will be held, following interment, for family and friends 1:00 PM at Greece Assembly of God Church.
