Although we never had the opportunity to meet Linda, we have known her son Mike for many years. With what Mike has shared about his dear mother makes us understand what a wonderful loving wife and mom she was. She will be tremendously missed by family and friends but knowing she is at peace and pain free will be a comfort to all.

For you, Linda…may you always be in our hearts. You were like a mother to Kevin, and he REALLY listened to you. Believe me, that is rare! I know he truly loved you, Mark, the boys, and all your pets. His visits to your home were just like going home. He would come back with stories and good feelings. Even through your illness, you would comfort and cheer him on. He admired and loved you. Through him, Bill and I got to know you, too. We so enjoyed your visit to Cumberland. I will never eat Ritz crackers without thinking of you! Please know we won’t forget you. Mark remains a true friend. He is one remarkable guy. May God bless you and your family. With love from Bill and Michelle

I didn’t know Linda at all but I sure am in awe of all the wonderful stories I have heard from Mike. The way she loved her husband and children is truly remarkable and something special; what a genuine woman. I hope that even through this painful time you will rejoice in the wonderful memories. Wow…what a brave, graceful fight you put up with this cancer. I am sorry that you weren’t able to KICK CANCERS ASS, but you sure gave it your best shot, and I am so proud of you! If I can find anything good in this battle you waged over the past 2 and 1/2 years, it is I am so glad that we were able to really get to know each other not only as sisters but as friends. This time we spent together will always be an awesome memory for me. It just ended way too soon. See you on the other side. I love you, Margaret
