Aunt Lillian was loved by all her family and many friends. Growing up next door made her very special to me, and in later years she said I was like her third daughter. She is now in heaven with Uncle Eddie and a lot of her family. Love, Sally and Bob
Aunt Lillian, you were a kind, caring and graceful woman. You were a role model in the way you lead your life. You will be missed terribly by those who loved you. Analeigh and Lauryn didn’t know you very long, but were always intrigued by the long life you lead and how active you were. Lauryn’s favorite picture of you is the one in Florida where you were riding your bicycle. You were well into your 90’s in that picture!. She shares this story with everyone. They also loved sharing your 100th birthday with you and letting the 100 balloons go free. We recently were at an event where we let lots of balloons go free and we of course were talking about you. We were so fortunate to be a part of your life. We will miss you. Love, Gary, Michele, Analeigh and Lauryn
Carol & Joan, I fondly remember your Mom and Your Aunt Millie from the ‘Bridge Club’. They were an interesting group of ladies. My mom and aunt Helen both passed in 2001. They all had good genes. My sympathy to u and your families. Sincerely, Shirley
Grandma, You will be missed dearly. We were all blessed to have you in our lives for such a long time. Your beautiful smile and sense of humor will be remembered always. Your life was a beautiful one.. blessed with a loving, devoted husband, two lovely daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Yours is a life we should all be so lucky to enjoy. I will miss you very much and will hold the deepest of love for you in my heart forever. Til we meet again……… Your grateful grandaughter – Karen.
I enjoyed all the talks & visits we had as neighbors, before I sold my house, at 531 Britton. I will cherish them forever… I am deeply sorry for your loss. Debby Mocny 131 Hilltop rd Rochester, N Y 14616
I love you Mom. Thank you for always being there for me. You are one GREAT lady and I was so luckey to be born into your family. I will miss your cheery outlook on the world. Thank you for being the BEST Mom in the world. I love you.
I will miss the happy times we shared through the years, Dick
Joan and Jim, So sorry for your loss, but I know you will see your lovely Mother again in the reserrection. Rev 21:3& 4
Karen and Family: Your Grandmother was an awesome lady! She and my Grandmother that just passed away this year at almost 101 were so much a like. They would have been great friends. They both were cut from a different cloth than most of the other women from their generation! I enjoyed the conversations I had with your Grandma through the years. I am sure that she will be missed by all that knew her, especially by her family, but rest assured she is in a better place now without suffering. You and your family will be in my prayers. Love always, Doug
Remembering a dear friend and wonderful neighbor, and a long-time resident on Britton Road.
Thank God for good memories. These go back before my time at Bethany. But I am glad to have known the Lambert and Greenauer family . To those of us whose life span continues, we send our condolences, and pray God’s gift of comfort. May the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ remain with you.
The memories of life with ‘Aunt’ Lillian and ‘Uncle’ Eddie are so much a part of my formative early life. I value the time I spent with them as it has influenced my life and character. Irene was fortunate to meet them and the large family and to become part of the Greenauer’s in a small way. Lillian and Eddie will go on in the minds and hearts of all who knew them.
We also recall hearing about the Florida Bethany reunions, instigated by Greenauers. We have tried to continue this tradition, and plan to get together with several Bethany families this winter.
We will always remember Aunt Lillian’s smiling face. She was so happy when her family was around. We all should be challenged to cherish our families as she did.
