Greece: Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, James D. Minard; her brother, William Culver; two sisters, Ruth Lewis and Virginia Beikirch. Survived by her son, Kirk S. Minard(Sandra Erickson); 2 daughters, Christy(Fred)Schrader and Tracy Smith(Pat Mulholland); 2 grandchildren, Brooke and Hillary Carroll; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Leah was a fighter. She survived 2 forms of cancer in her lifetime. Friends may call Thursday, 4-7 at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Funeral Service and Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make contributions to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory.
Christy, I was a good friend of your mothers for many years. I would very much like to talk to you, please call me at 227-5716. I will miss your mother and keep her in my thoughts.
Leah was my bridesmaid in 1941. We went thru high school together and I have many warm memories of our times together. I am so very sorry for your loss and regret that I can not attend Leah’s services. She will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
