Lawrence V. Morelli

Morelli, Lawrence V. (Merolillo) Greece, NY: Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 2, 2016, at age 100. Predeceased by his wife, Lavena Ione Morelli; brother, John; sisters, Laura, Angie, Clara, and Mary. Survived by his children, John (Leslie) Morelli, Patricia Morelli, Marianne (Douglas) Hagues; grandchildren, Lindsay Lee Hagues, Ashley Mae Hagues; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Lawrence Morelli joined the Rochester Fire Department in 1939 and served as a City of Rochester Firefighter for 38 years. He was also a handyman and member of the Toastmasters. Lawrence’s visitation will be held Monday (Jan 4th), 3-6 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Isaiah House, 71 Prince St., Rochester, NY 14605, in his memory.
