Lawrence Nichols "Larry"
Larry joined his parents, Isabel and Robert Nichols, and his brothers, Robert Jr. and James Nichols, in Heaven on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the age of 71.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen Alling Nichols, his sons, Paul (Kimberly), John (Amber), Christopher (Melanie), Patrick (Jennifer), and Aaron (Nora). His Grandchildren, Leora, Rachel, Andrew, Camden, Anna, Mari, Lillian, Henry, Sophia, Lucy, Ellie, and Mara. His brother-in-law, Daniel Alling (Jackie), and sisters-in-law LouAnn, Mary and Nancy Nichols. And several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The memory of Larry will live through each of these loved ones.
Larry retired from Finger Lakes Developmental Services as a service coordinator. After retirement he volunteered at Finger Lakes Developmental Service and Unity Day Treatment Center. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Charles Borromeo and a Knight of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Larry was one of the nicest guys. I was lucky to know him and our daily conversations at work always made my day. His love for his family and his faith were always so evident. He was one of the good guys and will be very much missed.
Kay and family, So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. He was one of the most cheerful person, always ready to greet you with a “hello” and a smile. It is important now to remember all the good times with your husband and father. He is now at peace in the arms of the Lord.
