Roth, Lawrence E. Greece: Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Predeceased by his mother, Genevieve; father, Lawrence; sister, Ann. Survived by his nephew, Paul (Claudia) Smith; great-nephews, Kevin and Daniel; caregiver, Rebecca Dibble; dear friends. Friends may call Tuesday (July 26th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (July 27th) 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Church in his memory. Larry and I are first cousins and have been very close throughout the years. We used to ski together after college. I am so glad I got to see him in his last days, and saw him smile one more time. I will miss him very much. It is a sad loss for us.

Larry was a very prayerful and kind Christian man. He used to love to go out for breakfast to start the day with coffee and conversation. He was a good friend to so many at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Prayer Group at St. Lawrence Church in Greece where he was very involved in the music ministry. He was also an original and faithful member of the Bread of Life Community which met for many years in the Community room adjacent to the home of dear friends Jack and Marilyn Cargill and the Community House in Riga, New York. May he know the loving embrace and presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for all eternity. May his soul rest in peace.
