    Gita and Family,

Your father and mother were both valued members of our World Gym family. Always enjoyed interacting with them when they came in together and then, in recent months, when Lal came in with Gita. I was truly saddened to hear of Lal’s passing and will miss his friendly, gentle soul. Condolences for your loss.

    Respectfully,

    Jim Barry

    Gita and the Mangal Family,

My deepest and most sincere condolences to all of you. Your father was like a father to my wife and me, and a grandfather to my children. His kindness, dignity, and meticulous nature left a lasting impression on all of us. Both of your parents hold a cherished and enduring place in our familyโ€™s hearts. They will be remembered with great respect and missed profoundly.

    Dear Gita & family,

It was so sad to loose your Dad go heavenly abode since you had lost your mother not too long ago. The kind of sincere person he was who was focused to do good karma, I am confident he was able to achieve Moksha. He was very disciplined to keep in touch with me and made me abreast of important things happening in the temple and community. He was also very direct in pointing out things which did not seem right to him. Somehow he had developed a trust in me that once I am aware, I will take his input and put improvement actions. This way we had a very cordial and rewarding experience among us. I am definitely missing him but have all the memories to cherish.

Praying and wishing you and family all the strength to cope with your great loss but you have life time memories to serve as guiding light.

    ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
    Sincerly,

    Om Gupta

    Dear Gita
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of your fatherโ€™s passing. As you know, our friendship began at IDPL in Hyderabad back in 1979 and continued at Kodak in 1986. We spent so many wonderful years with him and your family in Rochester.
Lal was a truly caring, spiritual, and intellectual person who held a deep passion for both science and his family. I truly cherish the conversations we had after my move to North Carolina and the time we all spent together.
I am also so moved by the way you cared for both of your parents. I know they were incredibly proud of you, including your insightful writings on Hinduism and our traditions. Please continue that beautiful work. I hope we can meet again soon.
    With deepest sympathy,”

When I joined IDPL R&D in October 1977 in the Drug Discovery, Dr. Lalchand Vishwakarma was already. He was good colleague and very passionate about work. When he resigned from IDPL and left to US, I lost touch with him. Later years, I had chance to reconnect with him , thanks to WhatsApp. During my stay in Little Rock, AR during March to August 2026, we were regularly interacting. He had mentioned that 2026 will be testing period for him as far as health was concerned. Indeed I am deeply saddened to know your beloved father passed away in January. I convey my heartfelt condolences to everyone in the family. I pray for the departed soul. OM SHANTI.

Dear Geetaji, Mangalbhai and All in the family, I am deeply saddened for this irreparable loss. We will remember Lal Uncle ji for his “to the core” simplicity, purity of his soul and heart, his spurituality, his phenomenal achievements and contributions in science. He had been a source of inspiration for not just me but many. May the Almighty grant, his holy soul, eternal peace and give strength to y’all. Om Shanti๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

    Gita,
So sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I didn’t know him well but remember interacting with him a bit in our Explorers group. Let Rick and I know if there’s anything we can do for you during this time of mourning.

Our deepest sympathy to dear Gita who lost both of her parents in quick succession. First her mother in a tragic accident and then her father soon after that. Lal was a friend of ours for along time. We respected his deep knowledge of scriptures, his humor and his good sense. He will be missed.
