Kenneth W. Spahn

Predeceased by parents, Robert W. & Ethel L. Spahn; brother, Robert S. Spahn & sister-in-law, Mary F. Spahn; brothers-in-law, Michael E. Young & Richard A. Giambrone & nephew, Mark P. Young. 

Survived by son, Shawn M. Spahn & grandson, Ryan M. Herbert; siblings, Elizabeth A. Young-Boyce (Gregory); Barbara J. Gotham (Robert); Christine M. Spahn-Giambrone; Mary Ellen Gotham; Donald R. Spahn (Rose Ann LaPorte); Lawrence R. Spahn (Carmela) & Teresa M. Allocco (William); 18 nieces & nephews; 33 great-nieces & nephews; 1 great-great niece; aunt, Irene S. Eckert; 13 cousins; many friends & his beloved dogs, Caesar & Lucky. 

Ken was a graduate of Holy Family School, Class of 1964 & Edison Technical & Industrial High School, Class of 1968. 

He worked for his uncle, Richard W. Friday Heating, Cooling & Sheet Metal from 1966-1989, after which he started his own business, Kenneth W. Spahn Heating & A/C from 1989-2002. 

Ken was the family fix-it man. He could fix almost anything from cars; furnaces; air conditioners; plumbing & electrical, to washers; dryers; refrigerators; freezers & most other appliances. 

Friends may call Friday (September 25th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday (September 26th) 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment following in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the Strong Memorial Pulmonary Annual Fund.
