Dear Kate, aunt Mary, Gary,Carol and Paul,
I am so saddened to hear about Ken’s passing away. You know, he was the very first one to respond to my letter of 1967 that I wrote from Belgium to re-establish contact
between the American Dalle’s and their Belgian relatives. I was welcomed with open arms during my first visit. And the rest of the story you know. I will miss our yearly
visits and lunches that I always looked forward to so much. I’m so glad that we had
such a long visit last June. With our deepest sympathy.

Gary, my apologies. I certainly didn’t intend to omit you from my condolences.
Kate, Aunt Mary, Carol, and Paul: Our hearts ache for your loss. Ken’s life was taken far too young. I hope you take some comfort in knowing he no longer suffers. I know you have many wonderful memories to cherish. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Kate, I am so saddened to hear this news. My prayer is that maybe Uncle Ken is catching up with Lynnette…..I hope he is! I am lucky enough to have had two fantastic uncles, Ken and Gary sure made a great pair. I will remember Uncle Ken’s teasing me about everything, the way he played Euchre and ALWAYS won, how much it meant to me that he came to my wedding in Michigan, but most of all that he always made me feel loved, even when we didn’t see each other for years between visits. I’m happy that Jennifer and I were able to be at your wedding; you made him so happy, and I’m glad you came into our family. Paul, you are in my prayers as well. Your Dad was a great, strong man, and you are just like him….well done! I’m so sorry for this loss for all of us. I would be at the funeral except that I’m out of the country until next week, but know that I am thinking of you. And lastly, Grandma, I’m sorry I won’t be there, but I know you will have mom and Uncle Gary with you, and I love you very much! I love you too, Mom and Uncle Gary!

I was very saddened to hear of Kenny’s passing. I always will remember the great times I had with Kenny, Gary, Ross Yaple and other friends deer hunting, telling jokes, playing euchre or ‘pickin and grinnin’ with Willie back in the late sixties and early seventies. I truly enjoyed the times spent with Kenny, Gary and the crew. I’ll never forget the day Kenny bagged his ten point from the tree stand behind Ross Sr’s place. I bagged my ten the very next year a couple hundred yards from Kenny’s tree. I swear the two were related….My sincere condolences to the family and may you find peace in this sad time.

My condolences to Kate, Paul, Aunt Mary, cousin Gary and my ‘sister’ Carol.
I will always remember our get-togethers…in 1965 euchre in Perinton with
Gary & Vicki, NYC World’s Fair, weekends forever at the cottage on Cayuga
Lake, pretending we didn’t know each other at Kaddis outings, and our ‘secret
talks.’ We treated each other with respect and I always admired you for your
service to our country…I don’t think I ever told you that and I’m sorry. You
always were the brother I never had. I will miss you forever. I know the last
thing I said to you was ‘I love you’ and I hope you are at peace now.
