KATHLEEN DRAPER ZANNIE
June 4, 1953 to May 8, 2023
Kathy was a life-long Rochesterian who enjoyed the sites in and around the area.
Kathy loved her casino trips, local festivals, family gatherings, game nights, and her much loved cats. She was a 1973 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a resident of Hilton, NY and more recently, Greece, NY. She and Frank traveled often, in their younger years, to Florida, the Adirondacks, on cruises and to other fun places.
Kathy was predeceased by her dear foster parents, Charles and Hilda Spall, her brothers, James, Tommy and Anthony, and her in-laws, Joseph and Esther Zannie. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Frank Zannie; their son, Joseph, and the loves of her life, grandchildren, Zoe, Bella and Brodie. Kathy will be missed by her siblings, Carol, Nancy, Dan, Susan, Margaret and David and foster siblings, Joanne, Judy, Paul, Mary, Patricia, Kay and Mary Ellen, Their spouses and children. Until her emergency hospitalization and sudden decline, she spent final dinner and rummikub nights with her sister-in-law, Jean Marie, niece, Anne and of course, husband Frank.
Many thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Unity Hospital ICU.
Donations may be made in memory of Kathy, to Lollipop Farm or the charity
of your choice.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday (June 14th) 9:30 AM St.Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Private Interment.
